Vide’s Water Seal Chest Drainage Unit is a 2,000ml sterile disposable three-chamber chest drain. It is designed as a single collection unit used to remove air and fluid from a patient’s intrapleural cavity, as a result of pneumothorax, hemothorax, mediastinal shift or other complications that affect the normal breathing resulting from a loss in intrapleural negative pressure.

Suction Control (A): Allows for a maximum 20cmH2O suction. Water level adjustable throught self-sealing port.

Diagnostics with Air Leak Monitor (Water Seal B): Allows for a maximum 20cmH2O suction. Water level adjustable throught self-sealing port.

Self Sealing Sampling Port (C): Direct and fresh sample extraction by 24Ga needle/syringe through self-sealing port.

Reliable 3-Column Collection Chambers: •2ml increments up to 20ml •1ml increments from 21 to 100ml •2ml increments up to 220ml •10ml increments up to 2000ml •Patient Name and Time can be recorded directly on the unit

Safety Features:
Low Positive Pressure Relief Valve opens automatically at 4cm H2O

High Negativity Relief Valve permits automatic and manual venting of high negtive pressure, offering maximun patient safety.
